And I’ve encouraged your to spend more time doing the things that make you happy.
In this video I’ll share with you 7 simple and effective ways you can increase happiness in your life.
1 – Invest your time with good, positive, encouraging and supportive people. People are either radiators or drains, choose to spend time with people who radiate greater happiness in your life. And be more selective other the people who drain your happiness and energy.
2 – Sleep – get regular good quality sleep, good sleep is the foundation for everything else.
3 – Pay it forward – spread more kindness, do a good deed for someone, help others, volunteer and enjoy the happy feeling of doing something for someone else, without expectimg anything else in return.
4 – Get Active – Physical activity is known to have a profound impact on our happiness and wellbeing. Do something now to move your body and increase your activity!
5 – Do happy things – Smile and Laugh more – eliminate time spent on negatives, TV, music, people etc. and spend more time with the people and pastimes that radiate happiness and make you smile and laugh more. Watch more comedy, TV programmes, movies and comedians.
6 – Develop your gratitude attitude – What do you already have to be happy about? It’s too easy to forget focus on the good things that make us happy. So shift your focus away from the negatives and the things you don’t have, and focus your appreciation towards the things that you already feel grateful for.
7 – Mind over matter – be mindful, programme your mind for happiness, use self-hypnosis, meditation, mindfulness. Change the way you think and act, choose and develop more empowering habits and behaviours, for greater happiness and then practice and repeat them reguarly.
I hope these 7 simple ideas gives you some inspiration to lift your mood and increase your happiness.
