What Is Holding You Back?
Do you ever feel stuck, like your trying to change, or achieve something, but it feels like somthing is in the way and holding you back?
When we were on holiday in the summer, we were having dinner at the beach side café and a seagull flew down onto the balcony scavenging for food, but when it tried to fly off it kept flying into the glass barrier. (It was soon helped over the barrier and released). But it reminded me of what it’s like when we are running to out of date programming and have limiting subconscious beliefs that can hold us back.
I’ve experienced it many times myself and I work with clients all the time, who know what they want, but something just seems to be holding them back.
And it can feel like the seagull bashing into the glass barrier, it doesn’t matter how hard you try, you just keep coming up against an invisible barrier preventing you from getting there… it can be very frustrating!
Do you ever feel like this?
Do you know what you want to achieve, can you see where you want to go, but you can’t seem to get there?
If you do, then maybe it’s time you change your mindset!
When you change your mindset everything else follows!
Start by imagine that you have the powers and abilities to get to the other side, if you could find a way through, around, over or under, what would it be like on the other side. Focus on where you want to go and what that would be like.
And then ask yourself what do I need to;
Remember the quote by attributed to Einstein “the definition of insanity is doing the same things and expecting to a different result.”
Simply put, if you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’re going to keep getting wat you’ve always got, so help you self, think differently, and start doing things differently and allow yourself to move towards what you actually want.
