In a recent post I ended by saying “What you do on a daily basis determines the quality of your life, your success, your happiness and the impact you make.”
But to do this we sometimes have to do things we’ve never done, or at least things we don’t normally do. Which reminds me of a great quote…
Isn’t that so true?
Read it again:
When you want what you’ve never had, you must do what you’ve never done.
Dreams, goals, targets, aspirations … these are all things that we want to achieve that are in some way beyond the place where we are right at this minute. And the ONLY way that we can ever hope to attain them is to move beyond this comfortable place.
To achieve, we must stretch, and the more we stretch, the more we can achieve.
You first have to believe its possible, stretch through our comfort zone, make it happen and then go on and achieve it!
A great motivator to help achieve anything is purpose… are you living life on purpose and with a purpose?
If you have purpose in any area of your life, you know what your goals are, you know what your priorities are and how to best utilise your time.
As we all know, people who set goals are the most successful, happiest and highest earning of all – according to study after study.
These goal-setters and successful achievers live their lives on purpose.
Purpose has two meanings:
1.. To be deliberate
2.. To have an end result in mind.
Its opposite is aimlessness or accidental.
I doubt if anyone can go from one extreme to the other overnight, but you can at least make a start.
Right now decide on one purpose for today.
Write it down. That is your focus for the day. Today you should live to bring that purpose to reality.
When you do it will feel so good.
Then tomorrow you can do it over again.

Choose to live your life on purpose and not by chance. Decide what you want, take purposeful action and make it happen!
