Today I want you to mind your language.
Not just the words that you speak out loud, but I also want you to be mindful of your self-talk.
We all talk to ourselves and have that inner voice.
But ask yourself who else in the world would you treat as harshly as you treat yourself?
Sometimes we are our own worst critic, our own worst enemy, we give ourselves a hard time and beat ourselves up about things.
So be aware of the words that you use, I’m not expecting you to stop doing it immediately, but be mindful of the words you use and mind your language,
Clean up your language, and find more empowering language you can use, to encourage and coach yourself, and just be kinder to yourself.
It’s almost like tuning into a more empowering channel. If there was a TV programme that was on, that you didn’t want to watch, you wouldn’t just keep watching it, you would stop it or turn it. It’s just like tuning in to a different, more empowering channel.
Think about this, if you spoke to a loved one, or someone important, or even a total stranger, the way you sometimes speak to yourself, they wouldn’t tolerate it, so why should you?
So today be kind to yourself, mind your language and think differently!
