Is there anything in your life that you need, or would like to stop doing?
Every month there seems to be a different challenge to stop something, stop drinking for dry January, go sober in October, stop smoking for Stoptober.
So, let me ask you an honest question, If you could stop anything for a month what would you like to stop?
What could you possibly stop for a month that would help you to improve your life?
It’s amazing how much you can achieve in a month once you decide to stop something.
Here’s some examples of some things you could choose to stop;
Stop drinking alcohol
Stop doubting yourself/beating yourself up
Stop being negative – focusing on the negatives
Stop comparing yourself to others
Stop negative self talk
Stop trying and just do it!
Stop being ungrateful
Stop wasting time/being distracted
Stop making excuses
Stop fearing failure
Stop giving up
Stop eating junk food
Stop stressing out
Stop limiting beliefs
Stop saying sorry and apologizing for being you when you don’t need to
Stop looking at your phone
And if you really cant think of anything you can stop, that would have a positive impact on you and your life, then…
Just Stop, pause what you are doing and just breathe, focus on your breathing and be more mindful and present.
If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got. So, if you could stop anything what would you choose to stop?
