Shift Your Mindset And Achieve What You Want

In this video I share with you how you can shift your mindset to help you achieve anything you want.
The number 1 thing stopping most people from achieving what they want, is because they are too focused on what they don’t want.
In a previous video I shared the importance of establishing where you currently are and where you are starting from. This is step one in my 3W system, a simple 3 step system to help you get clarity on what you actually want!
Now this is important, otherwise how are you going to find the best way to get where you want to go. To start any kind of journey you need to know your staring point. But the way the mind works is we get more of what we thing about, so if you constantly think and talk about what you don’t want and what your not happy about, you’re effectively programming your mind for more of the same.
Think of your mind like a sat nav/GPS system, its only as good as the programming you give it. Programme it for where you don’t want to go and that’s where it will go. It’s simple psychology that the mind can’t process a negative without first thinking about it.
If I said to you think of any part of your body, think of any part of your body, but don’t think of your left, without realising it your mind first has to go there, before it can goes anywhere else.
So to take the next step, you have to get clear on what you what!
What do you actually want – If you could wave a magic wand, what would you like to achieve, accomplish and enjoy?
This is your time to programme your mind, your inner GPS for where you actually want to go.
You need to decide and get clear on what you actually want.
So ask yourself this, if anything was possible and you had a magic wand, if you could fast forward to a point in your near future, where your life is exactly how you would like it to be – what would your life be like? How would it feel?
Resistance to change and achieve anything is always because of lack of clarity, so this is your chance to get really clear on what you want, you need to decide and actually commit to it.
Otherwise if you have a vague wishy washing idea, that’s when life distractions come along and knock you off track. Where as when you get clear and commit to it and effectively programme your mind, there can still be obstacles and hurdles ahead, but like when you’re driving, or a pilot flying a plane, if the road ahead is closed, or you have to take a diversion, or you lose gps signal for whatever reason, your gps will recalculate and get you back on track. Your mind is the same, it will do everything it can to get you back on track.
But it can only do that if it knows where you want to be going!
So your action step for today, is get a pen and paper of your journal and ask yourself, if I could wave a magic wand what would I like to achieve?
And spend some time thinking, imaging and writing about your what, your ideal outcome!
