2017 Lessons, learnings and reflections – 2017 Year Review
As we reach the end of the year, stay tuned as I take you through 3 questions to help you review the highlights, as well as your lessons, learnings into the New Year, ready to enjoy your best year yet!
Too often we focus too much on what we didn’t do, or what didn’t go so well. Instead I have 3 questions I want you to ask yourself, to help take the lessons, learnings and discoveries from this year, into the fresh new year ahead, ready to help you have your best year yet!
You may want to get a journal or at least a pen and paper, as you allow yourself to have a debrief with yourself on the year just past. I call this exercise GEL journaling and you can do it all year round.
Firstly – What am I grateful for?
In the year just gone, what are you truly grateful for?
Secondly – what have you enjoyed?
What are your happy memories from the past year?
If you keep a regular journal, or take lots of photos, maybe you could look back through them and help you focus on the events and experiences you have enjoyed this year.
Thirdly – what have you learnt, what have your learnt from the years experiences, wat have you learnt about yourself, if you don’t acknowledge these areas, you will never develop and grow.
These questions help, because we get more of what we focus on, and even the last questions enables you to highlight and focus on the areas you can improve.
So, allow yourself time to focus and reflect on the year just gone, before you turn your attentions towards getting ready for the New Year and helping to make it, your best year yet!
In the meantime, feel free to hit subscribe and leave a comment letting me know what you are Grateful for, what you've enjoyed and what you've learnt.
Remember – What your mind believes you will achieve – so think differently, believe in yourself, take action and achieve the life you want!
All the best
