What Makes You Happy?

Would you like to be happier?

I think most people would, I see people from all walks of life and the fundamental underling reason why most people want to change and improve their life, is to enjoy greater happiness.

Although there may not be one secret to happiness in life, one of the simplest and most effective ways to be happy, is to focus on…

What actually makes you happy!

I know that may sound simplistic, but please don’t overlook it for it’s simplicity.

After all we get more of what we thinking about, are mind moves in the direction of are most dominating thoughts.

So if we keep thinking about the things that make us unhappy, stressed, worried tense, we’re going to get more of the feelings associate with those things.

However on the flip side, if we spend more time thinking and focused on the things that make sus happy and bring more joy into our lives, then we feel more of the good happy feelings and training our mind to look out for more of those happy things.

Remember our thoughts lead to feelings and our feelings lead to action, think happy thoughts and enjoy happy feeling and a happy life.

I often work with clients who focus on changing external factors in the hope it will make them happier, a new outfit, a new car, a new house, a new job a new relationship. And although they may feel temporary happiness, it tends to be short lived, as once the initial feelings fade they are left with the same thought, programming and mindset as they had before.

So the real pursuit of happiness lies in connecting to the simple pleasures in life, the things that really make you happy and make sure you repeat and do these things consistently on a regular basis!

It’s not to say you cant enjoy those external and material things, but enjoy them as an added boost, rather that depend on them.

So If you really want to achieve more happiness, spend more time thinking about and doing the things that make you smile more and be happy.

Here’s a few questions to help get you thinking differently;

Who do you enjoying spending time with?
Who or what makes you laugh the most?
What’s the funniest joke you can think of?
What is your favourite Happy song?
What are your top 3 Happiest memories?
What are some of your most enjoyable pastimes that make you happy?

When you Change your thinking and everything follows, start to think differently and spend more time focusing on what makes you happy!

Remember What your mind believes you will achieve – so think differently, believe in yourself, take action and achieve the life you want!

Smile more, think happy and be happy!

All the best
